We had them extend our driveway and pour a new pad for our outdoor kitchen. Rodney kept everything moving and answered my questions when I called. Job came out great

(For most projects.) One total price in writing the day we walk it.
The proposal price is the price. Permits handled.
LSLBC #063699. Over $2.5M in coverage.
Most concrete companies make you sit through a sales visit to find out what a square foot costs. Here it is. The bigger the pour, the lower the rate — and every price includes fiber in every pour, excavation, framing, the pour and expansion joints where required. For scale: in Napoleonville, a 14 by 40 foot parking pad (560 sq ft) comes to about $4,060.
$1,750 minimum on the concrete. Tear-out of old concrete is a separate line item at $3.50 a sq ft with a $500 minimum. Rebar is not included; if you want it, ask your project manager to quote it. Pricing is for typical residential properties with limited grade changes — extensive grade changes get priced separately.
Length times width. A 20 by 25 foot patio is 500 sq ft. A 12 by 60 foot driveway is 720. Bigger than 3,000? Type it in.
This pour hits our $1,750 minimum, so that is what the concrete prices at. Tear-out, if any, is added on top.
Planning estimate, not a quote. Monthly figure assumes 7.8% fixed over 20 years through HFS Financial ($3,000 minimum loan) and is not an offer of credit. Want the exact number? Measure your own yard on satellite in two minutes, or book the free walkthrough and get it in writing.

Fiber reinforcement is thousands of short synthetic fibers mixed into the concrete at the plant, so they end up spread through the entire slab — top, middle and bottom. Most concrete bids you will get in Napoleonville do not include it unless you ask, and most homeowners do not know to ask. We put it in every pour, patio to driveway, and it is already in our published price.
Here is why it matters so much. Concrete is at its weakest in the first hours after it is placed. In a Louisiana summer, sun, heat and wind pull water out of the surface faster than the slab can gain strength, and the top shrinks and pulls itself apart. That is where the spiderweb of fine cracks comes from — the kind you notice a few weeks after the crew is gone. Fiber holds the surface together through that window, so those shrinkage cracks mostly never form.
Wire mesh, when a crew uses it at all, has a different problem. It is supposed to sit in the middle of the slab, but it gets walked on and pushed to the bottom during the pour, where it does very little. Fiber cannot end up in the wrong place, because it is everywhere in the mix.
To be straight with you: fiber does not replace control joints or a good base, and no concrete is crack-proof. Joints still decide where concrete cracks. Fiber is what keeps the rest of the slab from cracking on its own. Want rebar on top of it for a driveway or heavy load? Ask your project manager to quote it.
Napoleonville is the Assumption Parish seat, a small village on Bayou Lafourche with older homes close to the road, a few blocks of town around the courthouse, and farmland pressing in on every side. Concrete work here is mostly practical: replacing a cracked driveway, widening a drive for a second truck, pouring a back patio or a slab for a shed or carport. Lots are narrow and deep, so we plan truck access and forms before the pour.
Inside village limits, the Village of Napoleonville’s Building Permits & Inspections office at 4813 Highway 1 issues permits and does inspections. Just outside the village, we start with the Assumption Parish Permit Office and confirm which office covers your address before we submit. The ground is flat, so we pitch every slab toward the ditch and away from the house. A new or widened driveway onto LA 1 also needs a LA DOTD residential access permit, which we pull along with the local one.
We pour all over Napoleonville, including along LA 1 and LA 308 along Bayou Lafourche, and LA 1008. ZIP codes we cover here include 70390.
In Napoleonville we pour a lot of driveway replacements, back patios and small slabs for sheds and carports. Every slab goes over a stripped, cut and compacted base, with fiber in every pour, excavation, framing, the pour and expansion joints where required.
Every photo is our own work, shot on the job. See more in the project portfolio.

Organic topsoil stripped, cut to grade, base compacted so the slab bears evenly. Skipping this saves half a day and costs you the patio.
Four inches is the residential standard for foot traffic and furniture. Driveways, camper pads and masonry kitchens get more, and the number goes in your written proposal.
Fiber in every pour, mixed in at the plant to hold a young slab together as it cures. Want rebar on top of that? Ask your project manager to quote it.
Control joints cut on time, expansion joints where new meets old, and a deliberate slope so water leaves the slab instead of standing on it.
A fence that goes in wrong can be pulled and reset. A slab cannot. Once it cures, a bad pour gets broken out and hauled off, and you pay for the whole thing twice. The bid that comes in thousands under everyone else in Napoleonville is usually cheaper for a reason you cannot see from the driveway:

You have seen the numbers and how we pour. Next step is a free walkthrough in Napoleonville and one firm price in writing the same day for most projects — and that price does not change mid job. No deposit to get a price, no hard sell.
We come out to your Napoleonville property, measure the pour, shoot the grade and look at where water goes today. We talk through anything else you might build on or around the slab later, so it gets poured ready for it.
For most projects, your full scope of work and one total price are in your inbox the same day as the walkthrough. That price does not change mid job — if we under quoted, that is on us, not you. The only thing that moves it is you changing the scope.
Your project manager handles the Village of Napoleonville Building Permits & Inspections permit, any HOA architectural submittal, and the 811 locate call before anyone digs. You do not make a single one of those calls.
Topsoil stripped, base cut and compacted, forms set to grade, fiber-reinforced concrete poured and finished, control joints cut on time. Old concrete, if any, is broken out and hauled off first.
We walk the finished slab with you, clean up, and hand over your written three-year workmanship warranty. Keep traffic off it while it cures and it will outlast the house.
The Village of Napoleonville’s Building Permits & Inspections office permits work inside village limits. A driveway onto LA 1 or LA 308 also needs a LA DOTD residential access permit.
A 12x24 patio is 288 sq ft. At the broom-finish rate of $7.25/sq ft that is $2,088, with fiber, excavation, forms and expansion joints included.
Yes. Tear-out and haul-off is $3.50/sq ft with a $500 minimum, so removing a 400 sq ft driveway is $1,400 before the new pour.

Yes. When a pavilion or patio cover goes on the slab, a concrete footing sized to the specific post is included in the structure price.
A written three-year workmanship warranty. Concrete will develop hairline cracks — that is what control joints are for — but if our workmanship fails, we come back and make it right.

Because the lowest bid usually skips something you cannot see once the slab is poured: base prep, a full four inches, fiber in the mix or control joints cut on time. Our price includes fiber, excavation, framing, the pour and expansion joints where required, and the proposal price is the price — no change orders unless the scope actually changes. If we under quoted, that is on us, not you.
One project manager runs your job start to finish. We look at how the truck gets to the pour during the walkthrough, 811 marks the utilities before anyone digs, and any old concrete is broken out and hauled off. The crew cleans up before the final walkthrough. Tell us about anything along the way you want protected — sprinkler heads, flower beds, a fence gate — and it goes in the plan.

Checking your rate won’t affect your credit score
Financing disclosure. Payments shown use the as-low-as fixed interest rates HFS Financial publishes for our program as of September 2026. They are interest rates, not APRs, and they are estimates for planning only — rates and terms change, and your actual rate, term, payment and eligibility depend on your credit profile, the loan amount and the lender’s underwriting. Financing is offered through HFS Financial, our sole financing partner, not by Parish Outdoor Builders. HFS Financial is not a lender; it connects applicants with unaffiliated third-party lenders. NMLS and MD CSB #1680766. Not everyone will qualify. Representative example: a closed-end loan from a third-party lender for $60,000 with a fixed rate of 7.8% and an APR of 8.08% for a term of 20 years would result in 240 payments of $494.10, assuming the loan is not paid off early. Checking your rate is a soft inquiry that does not affect your credit score. No prepayment penalty. Nothing here is an offer of credit or a commitment to lend.
Two quick steps. You come away with a walkthrough on the calendar and a real number in writing.
