We are always hiring framers, concrete crews, painters, finishers and the trades that go with them. Steady work, clear scopes, and invoices that get paid on schedule.
We build pavilions, pergolas, outdoor kitchens, fire features, concrete and landscaping across East Baton Rouge and Ascension Parish. That takes more trades than most residential work, and we run them year round.
Before your first invoice is paid we need both of these on file. This protects you as much as it protects us, and it is the reason our crews get paid without a fight.
Current, signed, with the legal name and TIN that matches how you want to be paid. We issue 1099s, so the name on the W-9 is the name on the check.
A current COI showing your general liability, and your workers' compensation coverage if you carry it. It should list Parish Outdoor Builders as certificate holder.
You can still work with us. We will deduct workers' compensation from your payment and cover your crew under our policy for the duration of the job.
Scopes in writing before you start, one project manager per job to call instead of a dispatcher, and payment on the schedule we agreed to.
Carrying your own workers' compensation almost always costs you less than having it deducted, and it makes you eligible for more of our work. If you do not have it yet, apply anyway — we will tell you exactly what a COI needs to show and you can get it in place while we get you started.
Takes two minutes. We read every one of these and reply within one business day.
If you would rather talk it through than fill out a form, call us. Monday to Friday 8a to 5p, Saturday 9a to 1p.
