These Terms & Conditions govern your use of parishoutdoorbuilders.com and the quote, estimate, chat and messaging services offered on it, all operated by Parish Outdoor Builders ("we," "us," "our"). By using this site or opting into our text messages, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Using this website

You agree to use this site for its intended purpose — learning about our work, pricing a project and getting in touch — and not to misuse it, interfere with it, scrape it, or submit someone else's contact information without their permission. In particular, do not enter a phone number that is not yours.

2. Estimates, prices and price holds

Our instant estimate calculator and any figure it produces are good-faith estimates, not binding contracts or offers. They are generated from the measurements, materials and options you enter, and from average conditions in our service area. Final pricing is set only after a site visit, and can change based on grade, access, soil and rock, existing structures, utility locations, permits, HOA requirements, survey lines and material availability.

Where we state that a quoted price is held for a period of time, that hold applies to the same scope of work, on the same property, subject to a site visit confirming conditions, and expires on the date stated in the quote. Financing figures shown on the site are illustrations only; actual monthly payments, rates and terms are set by the lender based on your credit, and we are not a lender and do not make credit decisions.

3. Deposits and contracts

A deposit reserves your place on our build schedule and starts design and material work. Deposits are collected through our payment processor, not on this site. The full terms of any project — scope, price, schedule, change orders, payment milestones and cancellation — are set out in the signed contract for that project. If anything in that signed contract conflicts with these Terms, the signed contract controls for that project.

4. Warranty

Fences and gates we install carry a lifetime workmanship warranty. Outdoor structures and other builds carry a three-year workmanship warranty. Workmanship warranties cover our labor and installation. Manufacturer warranties on materials are provided by the manufacturer and passed through to you. Warranties do not cover normal weathering, movement or checking of natural wood, damage from storms, impact, flooding or ground movement, alterations by others, or failure to perform normal maintenance. Warranty terms are set out in full in your signed contract.

5. Referral payout

Where we advertise a cash payout for referring a customer, the payout is earned when the person you referred signs a contract with us and their project is paid in full, and when they named you as the referral source before or at the time they signed. One payout per completed project. We may end or change the referral program at any time; a payout already earned under the program as advertised at the time of the referral will still be honored.

6. Text message program terms

These are the terms of the Parish Outdoor Builders text message program.

What the program is

Parish Outdoor Builders sends text messages to customers and prospective customers who ask for them. Messages include your quote recap and estimate details, follow-up about your project, appointment and site-visit scheduling and reminders, order and installation updates, warranty and service information, and occasional promotional offers such as seasonal pricing or discounts.

How you join

You join by checking the consent box on one of our web forms, by texting us first, or by giving us written permission. The box is never pre-checked, and checking it is never required to get a price, submit a form, book a consultation or hire us. You are not required to agree to receive text messages as a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. A typical prospective customer receives roughly 8 to 12 messages over the first few months after requesting a quote, and fewer after that. Customers with an active project may receive more during the build.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for the messages themselves; your mobile carrier's standard rates apply based on your plan.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message from us at any time. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and then no further messages. You can also call 225.755.0219 or email build@parish-outdoor.com and ask to be removed.

Carriers and delivery

Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS, Google Voice and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and is not guaranteed.

Your number and your privacy

Your responsibilities

You confirm that the mobile number you give us is yours and that you are authorized to receive messages at it. If your number changes or is reassigned, tell us so we do not message the next person who has it.

7. Content and intellectual property

The text, photographs, project images, renderings, pricing tools and design of this site belong to Parish Outdoor Builders and are protected by copyright and other laws. Project photographs are of our own work. You may not copy, republish or use them commercially without our written permission.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

This website and its tools are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, other than the workmanship warranties described above and in your signed contract. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error free, or that any estimate produced by it will match final contract pricing.

To the fullest extent permitted by Louisiana law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here limits your rights under a signed construction contract with us.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from this website will be brought in the state or federal courts serving East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always posted here with the date it took effect. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
