Parish Outdoor Builders ("Parish Outdoor Builders," "we," "us," or "our") builds fences, gates, pavilions, pergolas, outdoor kitchens, fire features and concrete across South Louisiana. This policy explains what information we collect through parishoutdoorbuilders.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website, our quote and estimate tools, our chat widget, and the phone calls, emails and text messages that come out of them.

1. Information we collect

We only collect what we need to price a project and get in touch about it.

Information you give us

• Contact details — your name, phone number, email address and the property address for the project.
• Project details — what you want built, materials, measurements and layout you enter into our estimate tools, your timeline, your budget range, and how you heard about us.
• Messages — anything you write to us through a form, the chat widget on our site, email or text.
• Consent records — whether you checked the box asking us to text you, and the date and time you did.

Information collected automatically

• Standard web log data such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and the pages you view on our site.
• Call tracking data, including the phone number you called from, the number you dialed, call time and duration, and which ad or page sent you to us.

We do not collect Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers or bank account numbers through this website. We do not process payments on this site; deposits are handled by our payment processor on their own secure system, and we never see or store your full card number.

2. How we use it

• To calculate and deliver the estimate you asked for.
• To contact you about that estimate and your project by phone, email or text.
• To schedule site visits, confirm measurements, and coordinate installation.
• To answer questions and provide customer service and warranty support.
• To send follow-up, scheduling, promotional and service messages if you have asked us to.
• To improve our website, our pricing tools and our advertising.
• To keep records we are required to keep, and to enforce our agreements.

3. Text messaging and mobile information

If you check the consent box on one of our forms, we will text you at the mobile number you provided. That box is never checked in advance, and you are never required to check it. You can get a price, book a consultation and hire us without ever agreeing to receive texts.

The only parties that ever touch your mobile number in connection with our text messages are the vendors that make the messages work — our messaging platform and the phone carriers that carry the message to your handset. They act on our instructions, they may not use your number for their own marketing, and they may not pass it to anyone else.

4. When we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone who wants to market to you. We share it only in these situations:

• Service providers who work for us — our customer relationship and messaging platform, email and phone providers, call tracking, scheduling and project management software, and our payment processor. They may use your information only to perform their work for us.
• Subcontractors and suppliers on your project — and only the details they need to do the work, such as the site address and the scope.
• When the law requires it — in response to a valid subpoena, court order or legal process, or to protect our rights, our people, or the safety of others.
• In a business transfer — if our business is sold or merged, customer information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

As stated above, mobile numbers and SMS consent are carved out of all of this: they are never shared for marketing or promotional purposes, by us or by anyone else, ever.

5. Cookies, analytics and advertising

Our site uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your session, understand how the site is used, and measure our advertising. We use Google Analytics and Google Ads, and we use call tracking that swaps the phone number shown on the page so we can tell which ad or page produced a call. These tools may set their own cookies and may collect device and usage data under their own privacy policies.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of personalized Google advertising through Google's own ad settings. Blocking cookies may make parts of our site work less well.

6. How long we keep information

We keep quote and project records for as long as we have an active or prospective relationship with you, and after that for as long as we need them for warranty, tax, insurance and legal purposes. Records of your text message consent and of any opt-out are kept for as long as we are required to keep them, which is generally at least four years, even after you opt out — that record is what proves we had permission, and what makes sure we do not text you again.

7. Your choices

• Texts — reply STOP to any message, or call or email us and ask.
• Email — use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email, or ask us.
• Calls — tell us and we will note it on your record.
• Access, correction and deletion — you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to fix it, or ask us to delete it. Email build@parish-outdoor.com or call 225.755.0219. We may need to keep some records for legal reasons, and we will tell you if that is the case.

8. Security

This site is served over HTTPS and our vendor systems are access controlled. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take it seriously and we limit who inside our company can see what.

9. Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will post the new version here and update the date at the bottom. Material changes to how we handle text messaging will be described clearly rather than buried.
