Most fence companies book you a week out, send a salesman to your yard, then take a few more days to get you a number. Ours takes about two minutes and you never leave the couch. Type your address, trace your fence line on the satellite view of your own yard, and your price is on the screen — material, gates, old fence tear-out and the monthly payment if you finance it. Like the number? Put $150 down and you are on the schedule. Our office manager Kelsey calls you within one business day to set your build date, and we are typically running two to three weeks out. The $150 comes off your final invoice.
Type your Gonzales address, trace your fence line on the satellite view of your own yard, and your price shows up on screen. No waiting, no sales visit.
Tell Kelsey about the fence you have in mind and she will get you a real number and a build date. Good if your yard is complicated or you would rather just talk to a person.
Hometown Hero Discount — 5% off. First responders, teachers and military. Tick the box in the instant estimate and it comes off your price, or mention it when Kelsey calls. We verify your ID at the walkthrough.
Gonzales runs from older in-town lots to newer builds out toward the interstate, and we see both. In-town fences are usually shorter runs with more gates and tighter access. The newer side is straight lines and easy access, which is the fastest work we do.
A fair number of Gonzales jobs are commercial rather than residential. If yours is a business, have Kelsey contact you and let her scope it properly.

They completely replaced our fence, worked quickly, kept everything clean, and the finished product came out great. What impressed me most was Dante personally coming back after the job was finished to walk everything and make sure it was done to his standards.

Absolutely love how everything turned out! The aluminum fence looks amazing, and the turnkey outdoor kitchen is exactly what we envisioned. Great craftsmanship, professional service, and an easy process from start to finish.

Could not be happier with the patio cover they built for us. We use the space almost every night now. The concrete work came out really nice too.

We added a pergola and extended our existing patio. Dante was involved during the project and checked in with us about what we wanted. The crew did a really good job and cleaned everything up when they left.

Really good experience from beginning to end. We did a covered patio with a large concrete slab and it turned out better than I pictured.

This is an estimate for planning only, not a quote. Real pricing moves with height, style, terrain, access, how much old fence has to come out and get hauled off, and what the site actually looks like when we walk it. Every number we put in writing comes after an on-site measurement, and there is no deposit to get one. We publish these rates so nobody spends an afternoon finding out we are not a $20 a foot company.
Wood from $25 a foot. Aluminum and iron from $45. Vinyl from $50. Composite from $60. Minimum project $2,000. If that is outside what you had in mind, you have not wasted an afternoon finding out — and neither have we.
Price My FenceGonzales is ten minutes down Airline from our shop, and it is a market with two halves — residential fencing in the subdivisions and commercial work along the Airline and Burnside corridors. We do both out of the same yard.
Inside the city limits, permits go through the City of Gonzales rather than the parish. We know which desk your address belongs to, which is a small thing until it is the reason a job sits still for two weeks.

Pressure treated posts from Picou Lumber, straight and free of the heavy knots and cracks that come out of a big box bunk. On a wood fence you can take the post out of the equation for good: PostMaster+ steel driven four feet down is $4 a foot more and carries a lifetime warranty from our supplier.
We pull a string line off your survey, not off the old fence. Where the yard falls we rack panels to follow the grade instead of stepping them and leaving a gap underneath.
Premium imported cedar, because pine shrinks as it dries and turns a privacy fence into a louver. Cedar holds its width and adds ten years or more to the life of the fence.
A 3 inch steel post and a lightweight aluminum frame under every gate, wrapped so it still looks like wood. Hinges sized to the weight they actually carry, latches that still catch when the wood moves.
Inside
Street side
Drag the handle. The street side is cedar. Behind it is a welded steel frame on steel posts — that is the part that decides whether the gate still closes in five years.
From the yard it looks like the rest of the fence. Turn around and you see what it actually is: a 3 inch steel post on each side, a lightweight metal gate frame carrying the pickets, and cable bracing corner to corner so the frame stays square instead of racking.
A standard wood gate is a timber frame, a diagonal brace and two hinges. It works for about two Louisiana summers, then the wood moves and the latch corner drops. Everybody knows that gate. Most people assume it is just what gates do — it is not, it is what a wood-framed gate does.
One crew covers this whole corner of Ascension Parish. Don't see your area? Call us, we are likely already down the road.
We come to you and walk the line with you. Where it runs, what it has to do, how many gates, what the ground does. We measure the whole perimeter off your survey rather than pacing it off, and we talk through anything else you want built back there while we are on site. Then you get an estimate with a clear scope.
Material, height, style, picket direction, where the gates land and which way they swing. If your neighborhood has an architectural committee, we put the submittal together and wait on approval before we order anything.
City of gonzales permits inside the city limits, ascension parish permits outside them and 811 locates before anything goes in the ground. You will not have to make a single one of those calls, and nobody puts a post through a gas line because a locate got skipped.
If there is an old fence, it comes out and gets hauled off. Then posts get driven, the line gets pulled, panels go up and gates get hung and adjusted. We clean up every day. We are guests in your yard and we act like it.
We walk the finished fence together, work every gate, and nothing gets signed off until you are happy with it. Your workmanship warranty is in writing and it transfers if you sell the house.
Because of what is in it. Pressure treated posts from Picou Lumber instead of big box lumber, premium imported cedar pickets instead of pine that shrinks apart, gates built on a 3 inch steel post and aluminum frame, permits and the HOA submittal, and a lifetime workmanship warranty behind all of it. We publish our prices so nobody has to sit through a pitch to find out whether we are in their range.
A lifetime workmanship warranty on every fence we install. If our workmanship fails, we come back and fix it. On a wood fence with the PostMaster+ upgrade, the posts also carry a lifetime warranty from our supplier.
Yes. Gonzales city limits and the surrounding parish — Duplessis, Galvez, Sorrento, Dutchtown and Prairieville.
Yes. City of gonzales permits inside the city limits, ascension parish permits outside them, plus any HOA architectural submittal your neighborhood requires, and we call in 811 locates before we drive a post. It is part of the job, not something you chase down yourself.
Premium Cedar Privacy Fence starts at $25 a foot, ornamental aluminum and ornamental iron at $45, vinyl privacy at $50 and composite at $60. PostMaster+ posts are an optional $4 a foot on top, and gates are priced per gate. Height, style, terrain, access and whether an old fence has to come out all move the number, so the real one comes after we measure the line — there is a calculator at the top of this page for a ballpark.
Pressure treated posts from Picou Lumber rather than the big box store — their lumber comes without the warps, cracks and heavy knots, and the post is the one part of a fence you cannot fix later. Pickets are premium imported cedar, which holds its width instead of shrinking like pine and adds ten years or more to the life of the fence. On wood fences, PostMaster+ steel posts driven four feet down are an optional $4 a foot and carry a lifetime warranty from our supplier.
Every gate we hang is built on a 3 inch steel post with a lightweight aluminum frame, then wrapped to match the fence. From the yard it looks like an ordinary wood gate. It is just built so it will not sag or lean.
Yes. We are masons as well as fence builders — brick columns set between fence panels, full brick privacy walls, stone and tile faced walls, and driveway entry columns with the conduit for an opener run inside. Masonry is quoted per project rather than per foot.
Yes. Demolition, haul-off and disposal are priced into the job when there is an existing fence on the line. You do not need a trailer or a trip to the dump.
On a standard install, yes — that is the convention here and what most HOAs require. If you want the finished side facing in, a shadowbox fence looks the same from both sides and ends the argument.
Fence work is typically scheduled two to three weeks out, and we give you the real date at the estimate rather than one that sounds good. Weather moves things in Louisiana and we call you when it does.
Yes. We are a full outdoor living builder — concrete, pavilions, pergolas, outdoor kitchens and fire features. Plenty of Gonzales jobs start as a fence and end as a finished backyard.
Wood, aluminum, iron, vinyl and composite each win in a different situation, and the wrong pick is expensive for a long time. See all five side by side, with pricing →
On a job with this many moving parts, something will eventually go sideways. A delivery runs late. A pour does not finish the way we wanted. What I will not do is disappear when it happens. If something is not right, you call your project manager and it gets handled. If it is bigger than that, I come look at it myself.
We are going to make mistakes. We are not going to stop until you are completely happy.
Originally this was probably going to be a 4 star review because we had a little hiccup during the project. But after seeing how much they actually care about making things right, I had to change it to 5 stars. As soon as we called our project manager Rodney, he had it taken care of the next day. Then Donte, the owner, came by himself to make sure we had been completely taken care of without us ever reaching out to him. That went a long way with my husband and honestly is the main reason we will 100% be recommending Parish Outdoor Builders to our church and anyone else!!

You have seen the numbers. Next step is a free on-site measure in Gonzales and a firm price in writing. No deposit, no hard sell.
Quality is remembered long after the number is forgotten. Everybody in this parish knows somebody who saved a few thousand dollars up front and paid for it twice. Here is what you are actually taking on when the bid is low because the contractor is not licensed, not insured, and not planning to be around.
Two quick steps. You come away with an estimate on the calendar and a real number in writing.
